Strange emptiness

I got up this morning, with sudden sadness and emptiness. That feeling of numbness so intense. How could the absence of feeling be so intense? 

Change is constant and really beautiful but it is also immensely  strenuous. It's never the change that pains, but the emotions attached to it that kills.
